He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1989. He completed his legal internship at the Istanbul Bar Association and is a self-employed lawyer registered with the Istanbul Bar Association. Between 2002 and 2017, he worked as the manager of legal departments in the banking and finance sector. He served as a member of the Board of Directors in financial and real sector companies operating in Türkiye and abroad.
