SMART ENERGY IS EXPECTING ALL INTERESTED IN SOLAR ENERGY TO PARTICIPATE IN SMART ACADEMY PROGRAMS

Smart Academy, which is the training platform of Smart Energy, appeals all sector employees and the university students willing to get familiar with the energy sector by saying “We are in pursuit of green future, the future begins with you!”. Smart Energy, being one of the leading actors of the solar energy sector, will contribute to the development of the sector by means of trainings now. Smart Academy, having started to its operations with online trainings at the initial stage, will provide trainings which will attract the attention of all in relation to the solar energy with the principle of ‘being in pursuit of green future’. 

 
Smart Energy, being one of the leading companies of Turkey in the solar energy sector, runs with the sense of ‘being in pursuit of green future’. Smart Energy put Smart Akademi which is its training platform into effect accordingly. The Secretary General of Smart Energy, Filiz Avşar Aktaş, underlining that they are always in pursuit of green future through the vocational and technical trainings for the solar energy sector, expressed that they established a program that will contribute to the professional and personal development of the participants.
 
Aktas gave the following information about Smart Academy: “We aim at explaining the solar energy to wider masses and reaching to at least one thousand people by the end of 2020 through the online trainings of Smart Academy that we established exactly for this reason. Within the current period, the importance of the eco-friendly and self-sufficient renewable energy resources has become evident once more. It is one of our most important purposes to popularize the solar energy and to make it known and used by wider masses. While we are doing so, we aim at forwarding the most accurate information related to the sector to wide masses via the competent persons with our sense of continuous learning and continuous development.” by saying “We, as Smart Energy, are trying to explain the importance of the solar energy which is our area of activity at all platforms for the future of our country and of the world. We, as a company proceeding rapidly in pursuit of green future, are aware of the fact that how knowledge and training are important as well in this regard.”.
 
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO BE SHARED
 
Aktaş, stating that they are planning to provide the vocational and technical trainings for the solar energy sector in the first place in Smart Academy which is the training platform of Smart Energy, said “We will provide these trainings with our internal trainers who have the necessary education and equipment within the organization of our company and we will make use of the technical and vocational knowledge that we have within the organization of our company in the technical trainings.”. Aktaş, expressing that they are planning different trainings to contribute to the professional and personal development of both Smart Energy employees and other participants within the upcoming process, said “Thus, we are planning to include our trainers from both the sector and the academia into the organization of Smart Academy.”.
 
STUDENTS AND PROFESSIONALS WILL COME TOGETHER
 
Aktaş, underlining that the solar energy sector is carried on growing and technologically developing with a rapid acceleration, continued by saying: “We, as Smart Energy, are growing and gaining strength with each passing day along with the sector. We desire to share our knowledge of over 10 years in the solar energy sector with the students who are willing to have knowledge in this regard and the professionals who are willing to get familiar with the sector more closely. We expect Smart Academy to contribute to raising the awareness of the producers and consumers much more by increasing the awareness about such developments in the sector while facilitating the adaptation of our employees, who are one of the most important values of Smart Academy, to this rapid change and development process.”.
 
ACADEMY WILL INCLUDE TRAININGS OPEN TO ALL
 
Aktaş, stating that they, as Smart Energy, believe that one of their most important values is their professional and competent teams, said “Smart Academy has been planned as a platform which is open to outside since the occurrence of its idea. Smart Academy is also a platform which is open to cooperation with different institutions and organizations with regard to trainings. Recently, a series of online trainings that we organized jointly with TWRE were performed. The students and sector employees willing to have knowledge in this regard as well as Smart Energy employees will be able to take advantage of the trainings. Our participants will be given digital attendance certificate.”.
 
COOPERATION WAS MADE WITH TWRE
 
Aktaş, stating that they performed their initial trainings under the cooperation with TWRE (Turkish Women in Renewables and Energy), which is the first and only women initiative of the energy sector, continued by saying: “We, as Smart Academy being the training platform of Smart Energy, organized a free training program at the weekend of 21 June which is the longest day of the Northern sphere and also the World’s Solar Day with the cooperation of TWRE. The first training titled ‘Raw Material, Cell Production, Panel Production, Efficiency, R&D and P&D’ was given by our R&D and Innovation Manager. The second training titled ‘On-Grid System Equipment, Technical Properties, Application Areas’ was performed by our Business Development Manager. Afterwards, the training titled ‘On-Grid SEPP Project Design’ was completed by the sample modeling on the program by our Value and Business Development Engineer. The participants who took the mini exam with testing which was held in the continuation of the courses and who succeeded 70% were given attendance certificate.”
